Podcast Rejected by iTunes

I had applied to get the podcast onto iTunes but I just heard back from their application process that it was rejected. Not sure why, I’m not violating their terms as far as I know. Waiting to hear back to see if they’ll give me a specific reason.

In the meantime, you can subscribe to the podcast by manually adding the RSS feed to your podcatcher of choice:

Update: iTunes got back to me and said the show was marked as “irrelevant/spam”. Interesting… Trying to see if that can be corrected.

Show Notes

Ahadith on Martyrdom:

The Prophet [SAW] said: “Whoever fights to protect his wealth and is killed, he is a martyr. Whoever fights to protect himself, he is a martyr. Whoever fights to protect his family is a martyr.”

Episode 1: My Journey to Islam

This being the first episode of the podcast, I wanted to introduce myself and tell my story of how I came to Islam.

Generally, when reading a book written by the scholars of Islam, an introductory biography of the scholar is included so that you know who you are learning from. For this first episode, I wanted to follow their example.
